June 20th Picnic in the Park: Help wantedOur second annual Picnic in the Park Summer Celebration will be held June 20 at Knott Park. We’ve received a $4,000 grant for the events, so we’ll be able to do more extensive promotions this year. Due to the heat advisory and wildfire smoke making our air quality dangerous for many people, we have decided to postpone this event. It wasn't an easy decision and we are taking all of our neighbors into consideration. We'll discuss rescheduling the event or replacing it with a fall event at our (indoor, air-conditioned) meeting on August 11th at Parkrose United Methodist Church at 7pm. Our annual picnic in the park even is coming soon! Tuesday, August 4th, 5–7 PM at Knott Park. Bring your family and friends, pack a picnic basket, bring a blanket (or camp chair). We’ll have refreshments, games like cornhole and giant Tetris, and possibly some live music. Come out and meet your neighbors and have a little fun!
