More events: District 1 Calendar Friday February 6th: Parkrose Winter Kight Festival Launch Party: 6pm - 8pm at Parkrose Hardware. Hot drinks, music, and special festival art installation. More info. Saturday February 7th: 1) Neighbors for Change: Creating a Portland by the People, for the People. 10am – 4pm at Benson Polytechnic High School 546 NE 12th Ave. "Build community resilience, connect with grassroots organizers, participate in workshops, experience art installations and more." Events include de-escalation and coffee with Mayor Keith Wilson. More info. 2) Hazelwood Gateway Night Market: 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Oregon Clinic parking lot at 9924 NE Halsey St, Portland, OR 97220, USA. Sponsored by the Office of Events & Film at Prosper Portland, IRCO, and White Lotus Foundation, this free event will feature local food vendors, music and cultural performances, and family-friendly fun for all ages. First of all: Our first Pancakes vs. Waffles breakfast is this Saturday, March 14th from 9am-11am. Come eat and vote for one or the other or both at Parkrose United Methodist Church, 11111 NE Knott St, Portland, OR 97220. Then: Our spring craft festival the Spring Fling will be April 4th from 9am to 2pm, also at Parkrose United Methodist. Treasurer report: No change in funds. We still haven't paid back the District 1 Coalition for our overage on the park event last month, but Klint is in touch with them about it. The end of our fiscal year is February 28. Klint will file paperwork with the state of Oregon after. Klint is also continuing to research banks.
